North Kaarja

The village of North Kaarja is located in the north of the Kingdom. It is a village with strong traditions that they are willing to die for.

Background[edit | edit source]

North Kaarja was founded by a nomadic people with a strong tradition of ancestor worship. It is likely they came from across the sea as they claim there is a South Kaarja that can be reached by boat. It is led currently by Sigurd Sigurdson who is one of the few survivors from the short lived war against the Witchmaster. They once had a holy ground that honored their ancestors but it was defiled by the Witchmaster and his army and now it is now known as the North Kaarja Battlegrounds. Sigurd claims they will soon move due to the defiling of their sacred grounds.

There isn't much of interest in the village. There is a Weapon Stand Owner in the northwest corner and some sort of stone just outside the village entrance, though it is currently surrounded by the North Kaarja Gang. The village is also the home of the grumpy former member of the Kamengrad Council, Barzel, and the famous author and professor from Kamengrad, Florence. They bury their dead in a graveyard to the north of the village.
